Everything You Need To Know About Microsoft Office 2019 Home & Business - License - 1 PC/Mac

Released back in September 2018, Microsoft Office 2019 Home & Business – License – 1PC/Mac is available for Windows 10 and Mac users all around the world. In comparison with the previous versions, Office 2019 comes with additions and some tweaks. We have the Microsoft product available at Xcentric Store and thought to highlight all of its exciting changes in this article.

But first – What is Office 2019?

Office 2019 by Microsoft is the latest individual version of its Office software. Similar to the prior versions, Office 2019 includes Excel, Outlook, Publisher 2019, Word, PowerPoint, Access 2019, and Visio 2019. While the products of Microsoft have been shifted to a subscription-based cloud, Office 2019 allows users to pay a one-time fee and get access to the features for a lifetime. The product is also beneficial for all those who prefer saving and accessing their files offline without having a cloud-based backup.

The New Features In Microsoft Office 2019

For a detailed insight, in this blog, we have covered all the new features that have come in Microsoft Office 2019 License for Business. Also, while reading through them, keep in mind that these features will also be available to you in Office 365. So, let’s get through the features listed below!

1.  Scalable Vector Graphics

With the new Office 2019, users get to add Scalable Vector Graphics in their World documents, PowerPoint slides, and Excel sheets. These kinds of graphics can be easily coloured, rotated, resides, and moves – without degrading the image quality. Moreover, as a user, many other icons in the Insert tab will be made available to you in Office 2019.

A brand new Icon button is also added which can be used for accessing many Scalable Vector Graphics that are used regularly and are popular. These icons serve as an easy-peasy way for fancying up the presentations, emails, or just for adding life to dull Word documents.

2.  Built-in Translator Support

Another new feature added to PowerPoint, Excel, and Word is the built-in translator by Microsoft. For accessing it, the user only needs to open up the Review tab in the document and then click the Language and Translate button. Right from there, they will get the opportunity for translating the complete document or a selected portion of its text.

Even though the Microsoft Translator has been around for decades now, after getting integrated with Office 2019, it became a star function. These translation services are not perfect, but with time, they have become more accurate.

3.  LaTex Equations

Using the Latex equation in Microsoft Word, users can type mathematics formulas and equations without any hassle. You can find the LaTex function right under the Design tab, and as an alternate, you can press the Alt and = buttons from your keyboard. At first, using this feature might feel confusing. But once you get this feature in the Microsoft Office 2019 Home & Business – License – 1PC/Mac, your equations and formulas will be sorted.

4.  Better Animations With Morph

There is a new transition added to PowerPoint named Morph. It is a powerful transition that allows the users of Microsoft Office 2019 Home & Business – License – 1PC/Mac to add a smooth movement between their slides in a presentation. Essentially, it is a direct way to create animations within a few seconds, while PowerPoint does all the heavy lifting.

For using Morph, one needs to first duplicate a slide, move it and edit objects on the duplicated slide and then click the transitions in Morph. By doing so, a smooth animation will be created automatically on the duplicated slide from the original slide.

5.  Zoom Navigations In PowerPoint

To represent their PowerPoint slides, a brand-new dynamic navigation option named Zoom is introduced. With it, users can get the thumbnails for all their slides on a single page. They can then click every slide individually, and a slight transition animation takes them to that selected slide.

In our opinion, Zoom is a fun and engaging feature that helps bounce between multiple slides within a presentation. Moreover, it also allows more free-flowing in presentation as opposed to the default side-by-side slide editing feature.

6.  Surface Pen Slide Navigations

Thanks to the new features made available in Windows 10 Fall Creators Update, users can now use their Surface Pen on the slides in their PowerPoint presentations. From up to a distance of 30 feet, using the digital pen, users can move through the slides wirelessly.

To move to a new slide, users simply have to press the eraser button on the pen. For moving back one slide, just press and hold the erasers – and voilà, you will be on the previous slide. In reality, it looks like a small feature. However, for those who use PowerPoint regularly and make presentations, this feature is a BIG deal.
